Fun ways to multiplicate:::
It is important to practice and make multiplication/ division in a very fun way. It is used throughout our whole life. It comes up as soon as fractions start in mathematics.
Lets practice ....

Subtracting Negative Numbers:
- subtracting is like adding the opposite of the number.
Rule 1: Subtracting a positive number from a positive number—this is normal subtraction.
Rule 2: Subtracting a positive number from a negative number—start at the negative number, and count backward the additional amount you’re subtracting.

Rule 2: Subtracting a positive number from a negative number—start at the negative number, and count backward the additional amount you’re subtracting.
Rule 3: Subtracting a negative number from a negative number—when you see the subtraction (minus) sign followed by a negative sign, turn the two signs into a plus sign. Thus, instead of subtracting a negative, you are adding a positive. So, – -5 becomes +5, and continue normally with the addition.
ex -5-3= -8
No sign **** usually means is positive
Let us think
If we have balloons and we add positive numbers. We will have more ballons.
If we subtract positive numbers we are going backward. Therefore you losing ballons.
If we add a negative number. we are adding more weight to go down
Never Forget
-Two like signs become a positive
-two, unlike signs, become a negative
I love this assignment because I could see how kids may get confused. I think that by being able to follow a diagram or a visual image as a explain lets them get better and more practical at this challenge.

What does a fraction mean?
- How many parts of a whole
- the top number says how many parts we have
- bottom number how many equals parts the whole is divided into.
- the large the denominator the more pieces the whole is split up into and the smaller the pieces.
- it is expressed in a/b form
https://study.com/academy/lesson/what-is-a-fraction-definition-and-types.html
There are two different types: proper and improper:
Proper: Is where the numerator is less than the denominator
improper: Is where the numerator is greater than the denominator
Remember:
Lets put the theory to practice. Let's do this together :
I think fractions are fundamental to understand. It is one of those basic concepts that later you will build on to be able to do other problem solving and help in your thinking process.
